I hiked up the hill at an hour that seemed much earlier than it actually was. I worked hard in my conditioning class and then walked back home with that tired achy feeling that I mostly love. I was dragging. I let the warm water splash down on my face as I stood motionless in the shower, a few seconds of silence before my day got crazy again. I bundled up and trekked once again up the hill in the frozen tundra to campus.
